The book of secrets stolen in the previous episode contains all secrets of it’s owner. In this case it would be Phobos. Eager to know Blunk came up with an idea. Caleb strikes his head, no not one of his ideas. It will never work out! Why do he cooperate? Is he that desperate … No, the book is just that important. All secrets of the dark ruler revealed could save a thousands lifes.

Blunk’s plan is indeed primitive. He sets up a framework to hold up a sharp pointed stone at the top of the book. From the roof they will drop down the washing machine of Irma which would certainly smash it down to pieces. They end up having a broken roof and washing machine. You can imagine Irma is in shock when so returns home.

As our girls discuss how to break the seal our lovely Elyon in Meridian is fitting her crown. Happy she takes it off and return it to the smith, excellent work she pronounces. Her brother steps down and also congrats the man while Elyon returns to her dormitory to write her diary. The second she’s out of sight Phobos voice lowers. He calls the guards and tells them they need to free the after he have repaired all tools in the underwater mines. … No one, except the guards, left the mines alive.

Not too long and the smith finds himself in mortal danger being stuck between the gears. Lucky he’s saved by .. saved by the father of Caleb! In gratitude and in respect for Caleb the resistance leader he finds an excuse to get to the upper level to repair some tools. Aldran his son is at his home. Informed Aldran speaks with Blunk to pass the information to Caleb, who’s still on earth. Poorly a spy, another passling, have intertwined their ways and gives their plans to Phobos, who’s eager to misuse this new development.

When Caleb hears his father didn’t perished in the fight of the green woods. Ofcourse he wants to save his father from his horrible fate and without be reasoned by the girls he goes out and fight for his dad. The girls sympathy’s with him and goes along. They find a portal being opened at the bottom of a lake in Heaterfield’s park. They all know it’s a trap, but they have to. Irma and Hay Lin combines their powers to create a giant bubble which is appropriate as a submarine. They submerge and disappears into the portal.

The W.I.T.C.H.-es looks up to surface to find a pact of guards awaiting their arrival. Their bubble crawls the surface until they find a large pipe which is huge enough to act as a cover. The W.I.T.C.H.-es and Caleb enters Phobos dungeon using this pipe while his guards is still facing the surface of the lake.

Deep below they find the mines. It doesn’t take much time to find Caleb’s father, it’s obviously a trap. Cornelia smiles and stretches her hand. The mines shudders and a cave in happens at the other side of the party. The guards around Caleb’s father takes the bait and the W.I.T.C.H.-es meets Caleb’s father. Happy Caleb and his father is reunited they need to flee, but father is unwilling. He won’t risk his son’s life, but it’s no use since the guards aren’t fooled this time.

A big fight starts when a guard catches Caleb. At first they guards thinks he’s alone, but they quickly find out the whole gang is on their spine. Roots shoots off the ground like beams of light stretching towards it’s victims. A flood of water brings them down to lower levels of the mine. Then an alarm sounds, alerting Cedric and his guards above the grounds of the actions happens below. Furious Cedric dispatches a guard to break the lake’s floor, to flood the mines as he goes to the entrance.

Screams starts to sounds through the mine as the water washes out both sides. Irma is able to withstand the water for a moment, but they need to act fast. Lucky Caleb finds a mine cart and they ride their way to the main shaft, the only way out. The mine drives like a wild roller coaster on the rails, swinging from left to side, slope after slope. Unlike Cornelia and Irma, Hay Lin spreads her arms out, this is life. Having the time of her life she suddenly screams, the track is broken.

The brake brakes and Caleb jumps towards the other side. He just manages to grab on the edge and looks on his back to see the others only to find out they are all floating in the air giving him a warm applause. His father is lifted by Cornelia. In meanwhile the water level have increased a lot and they still need to free trapped and chained workers. The gaurds around don’t care about anything except saving their own lives.

Back at the main shaft the girls, Caleb, his father and the rescued workers finds a their-selves trapped. The main gate is flooded and too strong for Irma to channel or bend the water. Cornelia suggest she’s able to take down the roof, but it will just make the water coming faster. Will troubled breaks her head and loudly thinks about an air tight object. The workers overheard her question and mention her of a guard room. Will smiles and nods, exactly what she meant.

They make a run and safely enters the room. Caleb jams the door down and starts sealing until they hear guards shouting and knocking the door for help. Hay Lin can’t bear witness they die unless they enter the room, so Irma stops the water from entering the room as Caleb opens the room. “All your weapons, outside!”, Caleb father commands. The guards desperate to save their skin give up their weapons without a word. Now in the room they are witness of the powers of W.I.T.C.H., earth power of Cornelia to be exactly.

At the surface a new battle starts, the guards and Cedric awaited the final hour and gives them everything they got. A wave of arrows and a mass boulder shoots towards them. Timed the W.I.T.C.H.-es evades them easily and even manages to bring the workers, Caleb with his father in safety. Cedric dives and swims towards Caleb’s father. Will oversees and commands Irma and Hay Lin to create a bubble like they used to get through the portal at the bottom of the lake in Heatherfield earlier this day. And, she asks, how cold can you make it. Irma and Hay Lin grins as they do as she says. As Cedric finally jumps out the water towards Caleb’s father he’s suddenly enclosed in a giant watery bubbly. Confused Cedric looks up to find a icy blow which freezes the bubble.

The night starts when Phobos awaits his new prisoners. Suddenly his viewing stone is activated and find a pile of guards stacked up together. At top he find the W.I.T.C.H.-es provoking him with their victory. Irma also warns him, if the sunset breaks the day his reptile will report bad results
