Vathek wildly jams his chains surrounding his hands and feet. “Release me fools”, it sounds from Phobos courtyard. Smiling Cedric looks down at Cedric, the whispers condemns Vathek to the black rose of Phobos. (See foot note for more info) Yelling doesn’t free Vathek and a guard takes him away, but as soon as Cedric is out of sight the guard questions the whispers about the true intention of Phobos about Elyon.
The chains drops at to the floor and Vathek stands next to his friend Caleb. The whispers can’t answer the question and refer to the book of secrets. Caleb looses his patience and the guards remarks their presence. Caleb, together with Blunk runs with Vathek to the gate, but it’s shut down before they manage to pass. Running from wall to wall they finally jumps into the moat and flees.
‘Poor’ Cedric needs to inform his master about the loss and enters the throne room. Elyon hands over a sketch to Phobos, Phobos smiles. A nature preserve, he quickly orders his guards to disintegrate some land and start building the nature preserve. As Elyon remains in the throne room sketching more projects Phobos is punishing Cedric at the corridor.
Blaming Cedric he wines about Elyon useless projects. However he need to endure them until Elyon is completely drained of all her powers. Lucky for Cedric, Elyon interrupts the conversation, showing Phobos a public theatre. Shocked she looks up when she meets her brothers face. Her brother (Phobos) says her friends are again pursuing her, he has to take action. Quickly Elyon responds by answering she will make sure the guardians won’t ’cause trouble again.
As Irma and Hay Lin runs to Cornelia upholding their in-line skates they happily inform her about their new hobby. Irma remembers Taranee is great in in-line skating and she agrees to join, just before Cornelia does. However Will isn’t in the mood, she has been invited by Mrs Rudolph, their math teacher. That afternoon our friends escorts Will to Mrs Rudolph house.
However they find a fat dragon-like creature standing on 2 feet. Just before Will unites the guardians, the creature transforms into Mrs Rudolph. A moment later they we find them along outside along a pleasant table. Mrs Rudolph tells them how she used the Seal of Phobos to safe Elyon from Phobos back in Meridian when she was a baby. She lost the Seal somewhere on their way to Earth.
A bit distracted our friends reminds Mrs Rudolph why she informs them so suddenly. When Rudolph tells them she is contacted by Elyon to unite them Elyon appears as a ghost, swifting above them.
She claims she’s safe and is making a difference in Meridian. She’s happy and all is fine, so they need to stop searching for her. Cornelia’s hand stretching to reach Elyon and shouts she needs to know … But it’s no use, Elyon has disappeared as sudden as she appeared.
In meanwhile our friends Caleb, Vathek and the smelling Blunk flees through the city. An hideout, just enough for Vathek marks the end for his pursuers. Though our friends Caleb and Blunk flees into the sewer. They get separated and Caleb finds the Seal of Phobos, however he has no clue. The seal shines too pretty to let it go, so he takes the Seal with him.
He runs until he meets a bunch of sewer rats. Frightened he swings his hand holding the Seal from left to right to hold them on a distance. Suddenly a spark appears and a portal opens. He flees to Earth and he happily enjoys his free steps in the world. Swinging his arms from the chest he sings a song, unaware the Seal is being activated at each swing he makes, leaving a trail of portals open. (The Seal of Phobos, so Mrs Rudolph told, is only able to open, not to close).
Yan Lin, Hay Lin grandmother, tells the W.I.T.C.H.es if Elyon says she is save, they should stop taking action. They are GUARDIANs, so if all seems to be fine, they must let it rest. A bit unhappy Will decides to skates along, now they have their free-time back. As they skates from the hill, they all passes Uriah.
When Irma passes she smiles and provokes him. Mad he step her ankles and it’s a wonder Irma remains on feet. However she’s not able to turn when the hill stop and she flies into the bushes, into the park. Her friends hold still and they meet an pact of open portals. Wondering what happened, Will closes them. As the W.I.T.C.H.es consults their portals map they find a trail to the garbage heap. Without a question Blunk shoots their mind.
As they reaches the garbage heap, Caleb is running in Meridians forest, the one Elyon picked out to be an nature preserve. Each portal Caleb finds disappears just as he jumps to them and he starts to feel inconvenient. So many portals suddenly and all closes in front of him. He has no clue, Will and her friends are at the moment transformed and fighting the Seal of Phobos.
A dark strike hits Will when she safes Blunk and the guardians powers fades as the heart is taken down. Then suddenly a glimpse of the Heart shines and the Heart of Kandrakhar moves away from his master Will to face the Seal. Dark and purple pearl light flashes all around the blaze, like lighting storm in the mid air. At the end the Heart adsorbs the Seal, within that gossip it now can open portals.
When the guardians report the even to Yan Lin the heart flashes again and reveals a captured Caleb taken to the work camp. The girl advances quick and using the new update of the heart, open portals, they quickly open a portal in the neighbourhood of the camp. As they arrive they find the camp rebelling, Cornelia smiles evil.
That is what you get, putting a rebel leader into the squad. The guardians smiles as they help the workers and Caleb out and decides to take them to Earth. At Earth a new portal is made to the infinite city of Meridian, so the workers and Caleb are safe sound home.
The foot notes underneath is information obtained reading the W.I.T.C.H. magazines. You won’t find any of these info back in the series. It’s a real pity the left these out of the tv-series. I so recommend you the read the series instead of watching these tv-series (only).
Foot note #1 Black rose

An unlucky gardener of Phobos shaped a beautiful rose in the past. It lived gracefully in the dreadful world Phobos shaped. It shined and bloomed in the midst of the darkness like a sparkle of hope in all infinity. Phobos considered the rose as a crime and punished the poor gardener. However, Phobos didn’t punished him directly, instead he turned his family into roses. “Now”, Phobos tells him, “make them bloom and sparkle to keep them alive if you love them”.
The poor gardener has no choice to obey Phobos last order. So he remained in the courtyard to assist his beloved, awaiting the day of light. That would be the day the true heir raises from the throne and breaks the curse upon his family.
The beautiful rose the gardener shaped, in which he had put his heart into, had turned black. That rose became the black rose as a mirror of his burden heart.
Oh, man, now I want to read the magazine again. If you do not read the magazines you really need to! I’m 21 years old, a male and I love W.I.T.C.H.

Phobos keen strategy is to manipulate his dear sister without drawing negative intention to him. Elyon, his sister, overpowers him as the true heir of Meridian and in fair duel he will certainly lose.

The whispers in the toon are really ridiculous. As you see the screenshot, whispers are roses! That’s not correct regarding the magazines. Whispers are a tree like humans. See the following post W.I.T.C.H. 17 The Mogriffs foot note.
