Cavigor is the biggest and darkest prison of Meridian. A one-way dungeon, to lock up criminals for the rest of their lives. In the introduction we see a freshman criminal escaping. He climbs a giant spiral staircase for 4 of 5 levels up, at top he finds a huge hole in the ceiling, just thirty meters above him. He sighs and his cheek drops to the floor. There is no way he can manage to escape…

Meanwhile in the castle the dungeon’s name is being spoken of. Elyon, the princess of Meridian, pleads to see her parents again. Even they lied to her, they still were the ones who take care of her for twelve years. When Phobos sees the eyes of his sister he’s willing to send an escort to take them to the palace. As Elyon happily hugs her brother a dark grin appears on Phobos face. Cedric knows what todo.

Our girls in Heatherfield are having fun and it seems Cornelia have the most fun of their bowl play. However, Irma seems to be distracted. Though she’s the glimmer and shine of the group her face is sad and annoyed. Will shakes her head and explains her, again, the attack date is set. In meanwhile they just need to relax and strengthen their powers.

As Hay Lin achieves her goal to completely miss all the cones on the field, Caleb rushes towards Will, telling the parents of Elyon Brown has been found. They were located in Cavigor, he informs, a impenetrable prison totally placed underground. The only way to get in would be digging up from the infinite city. He also says that all guardians inside the prison are locked up as well.

Motivating and speaking the tactics of the plan at Yan Lin’s restaurant basement the W.I.T.C.H.es are ready to fight. As soon as they are transformed and teleported to Meridian they split up. Caleb, Blank, Will and Cornelia will do the real burgle whereas the others, Hay Lin, Taranee and Irma, distracts the guards. Using the heart of Kandrakhar, Will have no problems locating the dungeon from underground.

While our witches are burgling, Meranda (might not spelled correctly), a girlfriend Phobos found for Elyon, helps Elyon cleaning her room, preparing the arrival of Elyon’s parents. She has no idea her friends are now fighting of a bunch of guards to free her parents. It does look fine, the plan works out. All of the guards gathers around the entrance, defending the three witches from entering the dungeon.

While they do, the other party manages to dig into the prison. Standing inside the unprotected bottoms of the prison they find a couple of monsters. The monsters looks like a 8 legged centipedes with giant
antenna’s. They quickly seal their hole and fly their way to safety, deeper into the dungeon.

Outside our witches at the entrance have made a horrified discovery. The prison guards are getting help from outside the base! Elyon’s escort for bringing her parents have found the witches.

Cedric, who went along, does not hesitate and charges. Taranee speaks for the group, they have to warn will about the recent events. The witches enters the entrance and are fighting theirselves down to Will. However, Irma is left behind, someone must hold the guards off.

Will’s party on the other hand is searching the cell blocks for switches and levers to open any cell the find. They do find the parents of Elyon but they are rambling. Poisoned they find theirselves a paradise. Shocked the witches takes care of them and Hay Lin finally finds the switch. The levers are switched and doors are opened.

The surprised Cedric finds the entrances below blocked. Annoyed he questions his man why they seals theirselves up. Ofcourse he has no idea the heart of Kandrakhar, thus Will obtained the powers to open portals anywhere they wish. See episode 20 The Seal of Phobos (http://hirvine.com/?p=1136).

The plan works out and Cedric finds themselves an empty dungeon once he get below. Ashamed of his failure he reports to Phobos, who’s obviously mad and frustrated a portal had opened inside his dungeon exactly at the wrong time. Tears are shed when Elyon is briefed of the rebels actions. Her meeting with her parents will be delayed for an undetermined period.

#Note; comic – tv-series (SPOIL WARNING FOR comic readers < no.10)

From here the comic and tv-series totally differs. The tv-series is going on like Elyon has no clue whatever happens and what the true intentions of Phobos are and the comic tells his Elyon did solve the dungeon question. As former queen of Elyon her powers are that ready develop she just needed to wave her hand to erase the prison. The prison in the comic is ABOVE the ground. Just as a regular building it’s also located in the city except in a wasteland.

If some people says the comic and tv-series have chosen another path from no.6, I wouldn’t disagree. However the split here is overwhelming since Elyon performed a spell, aware of her actions she erased the prison. In the episode, Elyon’s powers have only developed to make a flower blooming :S. In the series you do see her well concentrated. Regarding her powers from the comic, that shouldn’t be a problem.
