Nanoha, our little teenager gets suddenly involved in an event which will change her life forever. While making a stroll in the together with her friend she picks up a wounded ferret. Quickly she takes it to the vet who finds the ferret mostly intelligent. That night Nanoha is being mentally contacted by the ferret who’s in huge danger. A black drop of water looking like a acid toxic waste in an giant drop form seemed to have chased down the ferret. The ferret is in fact a magical ‘human’ user who supposed to safeguard these creatures. While wounded she has no power to lock up this life threating creature and desperately gets our Nanoha involved.
Nanoha does not back off and fights of the creature, sealing it within a small piece of ’stone’, gaining magical powers to do so. Later on the series we discover the great magical potential of this girl and her desire to safe people with her ‘kind words’.
A great magical series which will be remembered forever (at least by me) had continued in two seasons. Both seasons are great, but the last season starts a bit slow. It was kinda frustrating start with lot’s of speech and no battles. However, it truly makes it up later on the series.

The last season does contain some more mature elements. The fighting in this series is much more intense than in the last seasons. Some people get seriously hurt.
Undergarments are sometimes seen. The transformation sequences show the girls becoming naked without showing detail — which is common to magical girl, like Sailor Moon or Tokyo Mew Mew.
There is NO GRAPHIC NUDITY! (If it was I would NOT post it at Hirvine.com)
Another element is child abuse. Younger children may find the abuse scenes disturbing.
I’ve added these warning from the magicalnanoha site, ’cause it is a good warning. Myself had some difficulties at the child abuse. While re-watching I need to force myself a bit to see it again (IF I see it again, I probably skip it, you know, like the Aeris scené in Final Fantasy VII if you are familiar with it).

what was the child abuse bit? i havnt watched it in a while., was it Vivio? anyways i luv these series, and have gone so far as to get it onto my Zen… tell me am i obsessive? i love all forms of manga and anime, so could you tell me if ther are any other good ones? plz!,
