Finally Alter’s Fate Testarossa Burst version makes part of my collection. Close to Nanoha Takamachi, she stands proudly, mighty and solely. Her sad expression tells an unheard, *cough* season 1, story. Behind those powerful blade (Bardiche in Assault Form, Season 2) and blazing speeds is a lonely and wounded girl. Longing to be loved, wished to be seen, frighted for friendship, as she never had.

Alter Fate TestarossaAs you may/ should notice, I’m a bit late getting this figure. Released in 2006, re-released in May 2008 and I got it at 1 Augustus 2008. Well, at least I got it! Nowadays it’s an achievement. Ebay has a figure left when I checked. To warn you, the box is HUGE! Check the box on the picture.

To indicate the size of the box a bottle of beer, in fact our postman had trouble to deliver it. Instead in the early morning he announced he was going to deliver an huge package in the evening. As told, an gigantic box arrived later that day. I will always cherish 1 Augustus 2008. Box measurements 21×25x41.5 cm.
(Yes a shot in my bacykard, I know, not all to glancy.)

Following is a small review, since the information the reviews I named at top, there isn’t much to add. One thing you should know, if you had to choose between the GoodSmile version and this Alter version, choose Alter (and get the GoodSmile another time ^^).

Fate Testarossa

Fate Testarossa

Fate Testarossa’s pose is superb. Ready to strike she stands proudly and mighty on her ‘throne’, but oh so sad expression on her face.

The suit looks kinda wet, but has more details than the GoodSmile version and the red belt is flawless. Marked with leather brushes. The cape isn’t wrapped along her face and does not give into the motion of the wind. Referring Fate’s hair, the cape floats magically overcome natures powers. Probably chosen to broaden her strength and increase this awesome pose, which it certainly does.

I think the sword is equalls the size of the GoodSmile version. Now Fate’s hold it in a slope which requires less space and make the figure more dynamic.

Underneath the cape is room for more figures as it was for GoodSmile underneath the sword. So no difference of that. Let’s change our view to the rear. Which we also will show a lovely underskirt shot.

As reviewed, the cape magically objects natures law. Wrapped up the cape would give an expression of a lonely girl in the desert >.>. Broaden her horizong gives Fate an powerful expression.

Well, nothing more to add actually. To summarize: Alter Burst Version of Fate Testarossa is a powerful, mighty, yet sad looking Fate. Her pose and quality is beyond average PVC standards and definetely a worthy Nanoha PVC.

For now I leave you with yet a few remaining shots to close the article. Just to mention I’m very, very content with this purchase. This Nanoga series figure is  truly a must-have for a Nanoha fan. I would even recommend it to people without Nanoha relations, just of the fine markmanship this PVC is. (Which people also do).

It’s such an awesome figure. Nothing like a big sword and a flowing cape to catch people’s eye.

2

Yes, indeed, and today Play-Asia restocked the PVC. So, if people are looking (I know you (super rats) have it already) get it over there.

Gratz on finally being able to get her =) Even if she takes up a fair amount of space, she’s a figure I was happy to get and still am happy to have. I’m sure she’ll provide you much enjoyment for a long, long time if not always ;D

Thanks and I will care for her to the very end. Each time I get up, I see her. I’m not sure though whether which I like more, Reinforce Zwei or Fate Testarossa >.>. I think my love for Fate affects my judgment. … Well CommentLuv isn’t working and I don’t know why…
