Almost Christmas

It’s almost Christmas! Boxtorrents an anime torrent site celebrates by 2 weeks ‘freeleech’. Earlier this month, boxtorrents was flagged as a badware site, but truly, they aren’t. It’s a good site and you should give it a shot if you aren’t familiar with. Boxtorrents some good rules, so you need to read the F.A.Q. before you down- or upload.

On my part I will setup a Direct Download Link server tomorrow. The server WILL be a beta having enormous speeds. The server is standalone and connected to a 100Mbit/s line. The server won’t be capped or be limited by slots in the first place. The beta should give me enough statics to deal with such measures in the future.

Changes
- Registration for the Hirvine Moments, thus the site, is down due the robots abusing the form as spam.
- Wordpress 2.7 is upped, you might have noticed a small downtime of the blog today (~20 minutes).
Again, I think my methode to upgrade Wordpress is way faster. Upload your files first to a different directory, then do the upgrade steps. At the point you must upload the new files, move the already uploaded files. Obvious, it only benefits for users like me haveing 45kb/s upload. On the other hand, Wordpress 2.7 built-in upgrade system will make an end of all that fuss (except the backup part).
