Animecon 2009 at the Netherlands, Almelo thx to nekolinoge @ flickr

Final I went to an animecon last Saturday (a week ago). Animecon 2009 the Netherlands, Almelo, after 2+ hours of pushing the traffic I finally stepped into an big luxe hotel. Theater Hotel Almelo is an huge hotel in which Animecon each year “celebrates” anime. I never went to any anime event like AnimeCon and so I figured cosplay is common, common is unusual 
. If I didn’t want to push the scenery I just had to jump into a custom. Well next time …
I didn’t make photo’s, but I think quite a lot of people did so I ran around the internet to find. I didn’t found too many, but a pair of photo’s are on flickr and StiX and Zucht of stix have uploaded a AnimeCon 2009, The Netherlands Almelo slideshow on youtube. The picture posted above is from nekolinoge @ flickr, I got this photo by ran4art.nl .
I really don’t have any photo’s here, so I guess I stop right here.
If you would read on you will be informed what actually happened during the downtime and instability of Hirvine.com the last pair of weeks.
Recent downtime! We had a recent downtime due a move to a new server. Unfortunately the move didn’t went as planned (as usual) so it went down for a couple of days. It should now be up and running smoothly again, thanks to Dreamhost. Though they went to the trouble repairing the server I had to replace configuration and a couple of entries to comply the new server.
However the new server is nearly 25 times faster than the old! So the trouble was worth all.
Recent spam issues
! This week we got a lot of spam, 50+ a day! It turns out our captcha was broken due the move of servers earlier this week.

soooo, when ARE you gonna put credit up here for MY photo? i never gave permission for you to repost this…. perhaps you reaaaaly should read about the details of CC Rights.

@Daniel, I will add a couple of lines and put it in bold and put it at the first lines of the post. Sorry it wasn’t clearly visible, but I did give you credits. I just put up the flickr page as link but indeed lacked your homepage, so I will add it. Sorry again.
If you still don’t like the way I give you credits, please reply and tell what and how I should add your credits.
Obviously I will remove the picture if you say so. Please also reply if you “blink an eye” . Thank you.
On second thoughts, this post will remain to exists for a couple of days to make sure the owner is credited.
Then I remove this post so no further misunderstanding may take place. Hirvine blog has no intention to steal away pictures.
Hopeful the header, bold, links in the first line will ensure you’ll see the credits. The picture at the post is Daniel’s!
