Caleb flees, running from a giant caterpillar which chases him. He jumps onto a bridge and finds on the other side more soldiers of Phobos. He reverses his direction, but the caterpillar blocks his way. Suddenly he spots a portal beneath the bridge. He acts quickly, he invokes the caterpillar and evades the spider web it shoots which is now targeted at the soldiers at the other side of the bridge. Blinded they can’t defend the bridge ropes and Caleb cuts through.
At the castle Cedric proudly tells Phobos, who’s confidently looking his sister’s face, he has won her confidence. He also know she’s named Elyon Brown. Phobos is amused, she’s excellent to become a princess, just for a while. After she’s princess he will take over her power and become the mightiest ruler of Meridian. As they laugh Vathek shivers, he overheard the conversation , and as spy of the rebelions he knows the princess identification is crucial information.
At Earth Caleb narrates the girls (minus Hay Lin) about his heroism while been cared by Cornelia who’s not very pleased. Caleb may be cool, but she needs to look after him. When Caleb awws Cornelia is looking motherly, kind an warm towards him. Their eyes are fixed at each other while being viewed by the other girls. Then Hay Lin enters the basement reporting Elyon has found a guy which surprises Cornelia. Elyon always told her those events at first… Lucky she didn’t meant the Cedric guy but Bryan instead.
Mentioning Cedric … At Meridian Cedric has managed to unmask Vathek and is asking permission to Phobos to capture him. Phobos is just taking a bath to reinforce his strength, draining Meridian life force. He’s in a good mood, telling him to take it slowly. Vathek is no portal hunter on top of that he’s large and slow. He dispatches Cedric together with the caterpillar to hunt Vathek down.
Vathek has in meantime arrived at the marketplace. He finds Blunk in the middle of a group villagers while promoting his merchandise. He’s jumping up and down with his skates explaining how well these foot knives are. Vathek grabs him and Blunk startles. However Vathek just want Blunk to find him a portal.
In meantime Vathek has troubles Cornelia invited Elyon over at the restaurant. She wonders why she could Hay Lin she found a guy and not her. Elyon replies she actually bump into Hay Lin, but Cornelia isn’t satisfied. Why didn’t she bump into her? Caleb approaches them to take an order but Cornelia quickly send him away.
As Caleb walks into the kitchen he finds Hay Lin questioning him about what he found out about Brian, but Caleb didn’t overheard the conversation. Hay Lin successfully provokes him to overhear, in return she do his next shift. No problems at earth so it seems.
On the other side in Meridian our friends (Blunk and Vathek) has. Cedric just found him and while he takes Vathek out he sends the larve to get Blunk. Using the skates, Blunk skates through the market, above the roof of the houses. Vathek runs trough the streets throws anything he finds on the floor. He’s going left, right, left, left and finds himself cornered. Quick he grabs a red-hot iron an threatens Cedric, but the giant snake smashes him to the wall and the iron sinks into a ton of water. Then the larve falls through the ceiling down, on top we find a rider named Blunk. He takes Vathek away to a portal he found. Ofcourse Cedric and the larve follows them, but they loose them.
Blunk and Vathek meets the friends (W.I.T.C.H.) at the back alley of Yan Lin’s restaurant. At first they didn’t recognize Vathek and they quickly takes their attack stances. Lucky Will remembers he’s umm, Bortough, blue thing, Caleb’s friend. Vathek corrects her, it’s Vatkek, and ask for Caleb. Hay Lin hear it too so she tries to fool Vathek. Just as she says Caleb’s not there, he steps out the restaurant.
While they discuss the matter our friends starts to eat when suddenly Caleb informs the princess is identified, her name is Elyon Brown the rightfull heir of the throne. Cornelia isn’t pleased at all, mad she’s the evil princess she’s not willing to believe. Still Will needs to close a portal which was opened in the neighborhood of the carnival. Elyon and Brian are together at the carnival …
Brian, the new friend of Elyon, is under suspection. He could be a pleaser send by Phobos to gain her trust. Cornelia starts to get angrier over time, she’s does NOT like they need to follow her like she’s a criminal. Cedric sends the larve in the ghost mansion to distract the guardians, however the larve is that quick defeated Cedric had no time to mess around.
The guardians fights the larve of together with Caleb and Vathek inside the mansion. People who ran out where thought of cowards, since the mansion remains a ghost mansion attraction at the carnival. The larve is locked up inside a big wooden chest they create with their powers. In meanwhile Elyon and Brian are gone already. Brian had something to say, just to Elyon alone.
Our friends tried to secretly follow Elyon, but Brian understood they didn’t like them. He’s not feeling well with Elyon’s friends around so he leaves Elyon. Elyon at her turn is (ofcourse) deeply sad. Though she knows it’s her friends doing she didn’t cut them off (that’s really nice of her). Still she needs to be consoled and needs advice of another person she likes. So she goes to Cedric, the bookstore owner.
