W.I.T.C.H. my new comics

I told you I was still looking for the W.I.T.C.H. magazines 11 till 20 in February. I found the books at 1 March and the very next day I scanned those in. When I was scanning, I thought why not scan the other books I showed at the post before (see previous url) again. So I did, refined, retouched the scanned pictures which took me 2.5 hours ! Finally I had my quality and thought I will upload it the next days. However, my notebook went down.

At 11 March I was able to use a secondary monitor with my notebook. With lot’s of trouble I were able to restore some data to a backup HDD. Development projects, webpage, blogs, the pictures and school stuff (yay :D) was saved.

To preserve the picture’s quality I used a loss-less compression method PNG. Conclusion, load time might take a while. (About the more stuff underneath, just “girl’s talk” about W.I.T.C.H.. Might be fun to read as well)

Ok, W.I.T.C.H.. I read the first two books (episodes 1-10) the past weeks and am really enjoying the comic. As a lot of people would tell you I tell too. If you like the toon you also like the comics. So buy and start to read, it’s worth every single penny!

I might become a W.I.T.C.H. fan after all. Having a little collection I can’t stop to buy more. My father won’t understand such a matter so I took the necessary measurements. Let’s see, find myself new payment methods, buy goods, ships them over at a friends place, use my school’s backpack to transfer those goods to my home.

Next to buy are the magazines up to the recent number, so I can follow recent releases. On top of that I bought the collection comic (comic albums) and not the magazines. To become a real fan I need, in the far future, replace to with magazines! I want magazines as real collector. First of all I still need to buy 21 till 44. Aww, that hurts. Would be round €250 to buy that. (In quick calculation that is)

My opinions about the characters in the magazines:

Will Vandom
She’s absolutely acting more mature and responsible. Really caring about the heart and the group she leads the team to success. Her position remains the same. An bad student in maths, crazy about frogs and an great but tricky mother. Her mother really cares about her, but she really misunderstands Will’s situation. At the magazines we see more quarrels with the mother, frustration, go-to-the-bedroom, I-go-to-my-room events.Will is lonely, frustrated, stressed and above all overwhelmed by her power, task and the caring about the group as leader.

Irma Lair
Still the all around joker and teaser of the group she makes it hard to have unhumored pages (which is good). She plays a lot with her powers and act more childishness in the magazines or more playfulness’s. At any case not an huge differences.

Taranee Cook
Wise as she is, she is the tome of knowledge. However she actually never starts an conversation until she has to, awaiting Will’s order. In fact she leaves the whole leadership to Will inline with the decisions. At the magazines she wants to take revenge at Elyon and blaming all problems at her. At the toon Irma was the new kid in town, but at the magazine she is. She never meet Elyon before she left Heaterfield to find Meridian. Also she was captured and interrogated for two months in Meridian by Elyon.
At the magazine, Taranee and Will never meeted Elyon before she went to Meridian. She was vanished upon their arrival.

Cornelia Hale
Modest fashion, breathe taking and the best friend of Elyon worries badly about her friends, speaking of (of course) Elyon and Caleb. She’s the huge factor why Will is suffering. Regardless of any trouble, circumstances she seeks to find out the roots who took away her girlfriend, making a pounding headache for Will. Cornelia never listened to other people, they need to listen to her or get out her way. Unlike the toon she locates an portal herself and finds Elyon. She’s able to rescue her and restores her friendship. However, she also creates a cracks the Veil which results in an earthquake in both Meridian and Earth.

Hay Lin
My life to the fullest Hay Lin sparks like ever. She’s not only loaded with energy, she also acts and attacks more fiercely than the other girls. Yan Lin in contrary at toon died. The power of the heart gave her a lifetime over thousands years without the heart, she died. Like Will and Taranee she blames Elyon for the recent events, such as becoming the guardians, Meridian, their lost of Taranee which makes Cornelia mad. Hay Lin is also an art artist and stays home more often than the other girls. Her parents has a restaurant which need to be run without Yan Lin as well, also their culture is totally different. While especially Will doesn’t care about running from home, Hay Lin cares about her mother illness, worries about her dad at the restaurant and feels more responsible to help her family.

The comics

The main article has lot’s of good information, the issue 1 article narrates about the first comic. The first issue has some good shots of the comic as illustrations. If I become aware how to scan some great pictures without ruing my comics, I’ll show you some of my own as well. (Don’t count on it)
