Sanjura trains Shugo which is a business on it’s own. The training doesn’t goes well and Shugo has a lot to learn. They decide to return home and walk their way to the portal. At the portal they meet Reena who worries about her partner, Shugo plays a lot with Sanjura instead her lately.

In respond Shugo answers he wants to be able to protect his sister which makes Reena blush. Reminding the issue she agrees, however they are at the world to play together. The town advertisements shows a new event the Tanabata Night. The twins has no idea what the event will be, but Reena heard Tanabata night was the night where the lovers Orihime and Kengyu are reunited that one time a year.

So it should be romantic. Romantic doesn’t interest Shugo but a strange man on a big grunty named Komiyan the Third does. He introduces himself as the King of Aloofness. It turns out Komiyan is their previous classmate. He still remembers the transfer of Reena. Shugo isn’t happy at all to see this loser meeting up with Reena and so he takes Reena to the night.

In meanwhile Balmung and Reki are still investigating the matter. Balmung leaves the event up to Reki which surprises him. However Balmung explains he will sign up as a normal user.

A recent event at the world made a operator into a coma. Surprised Reki tells it’s impossible awaits confirmation, however Balmung tells him it’s possible using the Twilight.

At the edge of a forest somewhere in the world Mireille shows Shugo her yukata (summer dress). As the party gathers it appears everyone has a yukata except for Shugo. To be a part of the event they need to make a note with a wish. At the end of the event one single note will be grabbed from the tree and they make the wish come true. (In the restriction of the world ofcourse). The tea party might be , well boring, Poka is not.

Reena won’t hand over Shugo to Poka and makes sure enough space remains between them. What’s Reena thinking? Probably he only like to pet his pet . At any case the notes are set and they wait the night. While they wait Komiyan appears. It seems he joins the event as well. When Shugo inspects his note as he left the place he reads ‘I want Reena’s socks’. Now how lame is that! Shugo asks himself and torn the note apart. His friends watches over him and respects his decision.

The sky darkens and the night is on. A lot of people came to the event. They need to swim to a island. To start the event a single player will be chosen to sign the start signal. The lucky player is Reena which surprises Balmung. The selection should be completely random, is this a coincidence?! Sanjura is at the rear of the scené as well.

He believes Shugo chances are high. His training will do him good. Turning to Balmung he explains Shugo has the potential to become a great warrior.

The race is on, everyone goes for themselves using powerful attacks, magic to win. The whistle sounds and the players wet their selves into the water. At first they slowly approach, but than they start running and racing. An ice storm appears upon Mireille’s call and Poka smashes the frozen lake into pieces.

Jumps on Shugo to slow him down and speed herself up. Shugo races fiercely, can’t have to see the loser up with his sister. He advances great but suddenly hears Hotaru cry for help. She thought the ice would stand tall but when it broke she fell into the water. Shugo goes and helps her to get out, Hotaru can’t swim. By doing so he gave up the competition automatically.

Suddenly a monster appears in joyment of Mireille and Poka. Finally a worthy opponent which should have rare items. However how hard they fight, the monster shows no sign of any scratches. Finally the moment arrives and Balmung lend his eye at the players. Sanjura runs towards Shugo and he meets the monster which seems to be fixed at Shugo. As Sanjura defends Balmung attacks. However the attacks has no effect and Sanjura starts to understand only Shugo can solve this matter.

The monster chances his direction and Balmung oversees his action and warns Reena. The fighting and running from the fiercely creature is useless so all Reena can do is scream for help. The bracelet shines and Shugo calls forth it’s powers. In his attack he do hit the creatures but Komiyan as well. Both converts into tiny fishes. Shugo doesn’t spend an eye at the fishes and runs towards his sister, asking her whether she’s alright.

However she thanks lord Balmung who’s also the winner of the contest. The winner of the contest will receive a kiss of the selected girl (Reena) which makes them both blush and Shugo mad.
(At the right we see the zoomed in picture of the finish line. As you see, Shugo won with 1 pixel. In fact it’s very good possible since the world still is a pc game. Urm, back to the blog.)

A grunty breaks the moment and shows them a picture. The picture, see above, represent the a photo of the finish line. Zooming into the picture we find Shugo as the winner of the event with just 1 pixel. Reki re-announces the winner and pushes Balmung aside. In front of his own sister Shugo has now the task to kiss Reena, his own only little sister.

Whatever are they waiting for? A little kiss is not that bad. The twins looks to the all players surrounding them. They awaits their moment. They blush and they prepare themselves to kiss. In fact Reena is the only one preparing to kiss, Shugo just waits …

A thunder breaks the sky and a big rainfall wets all players. Balmung isn’t pleased at all, the forecasts didn’t show any rainfall at the area. He acts immediately and orders Reki to stop the event before any other unexpected events happens. He’s aware this part of the server might be hacked.

The players evacuates from the area and the wind blows the notes away. Two notes crosses each other, Shugo’s note tells “I want to be with Reena” and the second note is Reena’s. Her note tells “I want our family to be together again”. Both notes drops into a stream and together flows where ever the streams takes it.

A desperate girl closes meets a blond haired girl at the side of street. She’s finds herself at the edge of an huge stream which flows through the city. The desperate girl asks a favour. She has a grunty with her, but she’s not able to take care for three days, since she goes on a trip. The pet approaches her and jumps on her lap to get some sleep. First the girl startles but and looks up the answer her favour, however her ‘friend’ is gone, leaving her grunty at her care.

Mireille shows our new party which is Shugo, Reena and the new member Poka ( the dog of the previous episode, seems the collar works fine Shugo ) her storage room. The room is in fact a rare item itself. Admired by Mireille’s collection our party enters  at one condition, she needs to hands off of Kite’s (Shugo’s) bracelet for good.

She admits she really wants it, but the friendship has more value to her and she decides to agreed. Inside we find a great collection of the most rarest items our members ever saw.

The rare hunter inspects Shugo’s bracelet. After her investigation she informs them the bracelet is a very high level rare item. How better the material, how better the item, so she explains. Also she continues Shugo is in fact unable to handle the bracelet, which may lead to improper actions like the previous drain rate. Poka nods, he’s unable to use the bracelet until he’s equalled trained. Reena looks to Shugo, what are they waiting for? Let’s train! The party agrees and so they go.

They starts at an mid-level-area which surprises Shugo, he can’t even survive in the beginners area. Without any explanation the party attacks without Shugo and even reminding him he should not attack or participate in battle. In fact he’s just a burden. Confused Shugo asked he was the one who needs training. No one responds until Shugo levels up. Reena explains he only needs to be in the party to gain experience. Along the fight we see Balmung and his partner Reki  still investigating the strange events earlier in episode 1 & 2.

At the battlefield Poka tutors Reena how to fight well. She tells her never to fight in a straight line, bend, bend proceed. She nods and tries and tries and become better all the time. Improved in level, experience and tactics the party moves towards home, ignoring Shugo who stood back the whole time. Walking through the corridors he ears Reena is a much higher level than he is, she trained secretly. Bit mad about his sneaking sister he locates an treasure chest and runs to get it, ignoring the warnings of his clan. The chest explodes and he finds himself a level down trap, back to level 1.

Mad Shugo exits the area and leaves by himself leaving his sister alone. Shocked his sister knows, Shugo is able to stop the whole thing if he has these moments. Down at the problems we find Shugo sitting at the edge of the road, staring to the water asking himself why Auro thought he is the hero, the one who will save the world and gave him the important bracelet.

Suddenly he finds another player deep in problems aside of him, a blond girl meets his eye. Kind as he is, Shugo ask about her problems. She introduces herself as Hotaru and informs him about the small event. She got her pet, a grunty, of a totally stranger who went on trip for three days. Now she’s gone, the grunty suddenly received an illness.

Sad she blames herself, telling she doesn’t know how to raise or pet a pet. To continue her story Shugo is informed she’s mostly alone. Hotaru has one friend and is highly depend, however she was not able to find him these days. Suddenly our little party steps at the front door of a grunty shop.

Shugo smiles, but the problem just starts. The doctor claims the illness is a flu and without a potion made of a phoenix feather, the creature will die. Shocked Hotaru can only cry which pains Shugo. He might not be able to fight, but he won’t leave a girl alone. The feather is located in a high level area and Shugo quickly mails his party to support him. Though no one answers and the hands of time leaps forward.

Blazing Purgatory Valley is a rough area with high cliffs and dry land. Shugo might not be strong, but is smart enough to use a kind of radar device to detect the spawning of creatures. If they never get close, they never get attacked. Does it fail, they still has a speed charm to run for it. Hotaru smiles, she gained her trust, this might actually work.

The strategy works great, but inside the dungeon our party get’s stuck. The corridor is too small to evade the portals and when the second monster emerges they are surrounded. It leaves Shugo no choice to use the bracelet again, there is still a small change the bracelet will work. The bracelet works and Shugo finishes the converted creature of. Finishing of the creature at the front, dropping his guard for his back Hotaru finds herself in problem.

Lucky for us Sanjura appears, he read Hotaru’s mail and went as quick as possible to the location. Surprised to find Kite around playing with these easy creature. Shugo corrects him, informing he’s actually Shugo who won the Kite character, which really surprises Sanjura. I’m not sure, but he’s not totally happy with the given character. At any case, they get the feather and the grunty is healed.

Suddenly the grunty owner, from the beginning of the episode, storms in and tells her she’s happy her grunty survived. Mad Shugo strikes asking her she knew about the illness. She responds she did and spreads her arms towards the grunty. The grunty looks to her and moves towards Hotaru. Suddenly Shugo party joins the starting quarrel and they actually finishes the old owner up, for lacking responsibility.

The fruit tastes well, but Sanjura isn’t around anymore. Sanjura sneaked away and went to Balmung. At his turn Balmung wants Sanjura to train Shugo. Without getting more information why, he trusts his friend’s word. He wants him to train Shugo, so he will train him.

The episode starts revealing a beautiful forest. All people wanders around holding a tiny PDA in their hands. We hear Balmung warning the three he’s pointing at is rarely at sight. The woman on the left of the tree pushes some number into the PDA and replaces the tree in front to the left. An portal appears next to Balmung and Reki emerges from the light. He investigated the log files but those files had no proof about the appearance of a giant armored shogun in the beginners district. However Balmung fought alike creature, who did he fought if it wasn’t a giant armored shogun.

Shugo’s father goes off before diner leaving Shugo alone. It’s fine since he promises his sister to be in the world again. Once he found Reena she shouts he’s late again. Mireille, the rare item hunter, joins their party again but Reena grabs her brothers and uses a speed charm. The ran off, using the charm, leaving Mireille at her own. Reena explains she wants to explore the world together with her brother and not with her.

They walk till they finds a event banner which advertises trees will bloom inside the luxury cherisch maze. Reena reads the advertisement and explains Shugo they need to make the trees bloom to get rewarded. Just when they wants to go Reena oversees a problem. The text displays them they need to have a wind master along their party. Suddenly a staff swaps between them and Mireille informs them she is a wind master.

The party has no choice and Shugo is in fact happy to see her around. Arrived at the luxury cherish maze they find the bare trees. Mireille attempts to bloom them using recovery spell, since it’s no use she creates a big rainy cloud. When she looks up she only finds a soaked Reena who’s furious. Quickly she says the blooming might need a special item and flees.

Shugo is in meanwhile stunned by the gorgeous wet look of Reena. On the top of the hill we find Balmung, enjoying the peacefully environment which surprises Reki. Most of the time Balmung is gone when the event starts. When Balmung looks down, no one figured out how to make the cherry blossoms bloom. Still the event is easy, ‘it’s comment sense’, he says. Then he spots the legendary heroes and awaits the next events.

Our heroes making themselves comfortable. Shugo narrates they played along the cherry blossoms when they were young. After he finishes the story Reena thinks its time to solve the mystery when Shogu finds a dog in front of him. Shugo just loves animals and ask Reena how to get a dog for your own. Reena laughs and knows he never could have a dog since mother was allergic. She’s still confused since the manual didn’t wrote anything about animals.

Balmung interrupts them asking whether (Kite) Shugo really wants one. “Lord Balmung!”, Reena shouts, “it’s really you”. Her savior turns to her and ask how to have obtained their characters. Surprised to hear she informs him about the character contents. Also introducing them as Reena and Shugo. Balmung turns to Shugo and analyses his bracelet. Shugo explains he received as a gift of a girl in white. Our feathered lord eyes spread wide open, a girl in white? Continuing Shugo tells his characters has strange events. Because she also said he’s the only one which can save the world. The lord whispers the name ‘Aura’.

In meanwhile our hunter Mireile is attacked by an skeleton. Reena is surprised and says to Balmun she wasn’t prepare for a fight since the event didn’t tell anything about it. He’s certainly not amused, he didn’t intended to have a fighting plot in the event. The fighting bones is not his work, also the fighting bones is to strong for newbies. Reki appears and is scolded by Balmung, did he put the monster in the event? He takes a back step and ensures he didn’t do anything.

The rare hunter is still fleeing for the skeleton (fighting bones) and Balmung jumps between saving her. He fiercly swing his sword and pierce the skeleton. He returns his sword but even before it’s lowered down the skeleton heals itself. Balmung oversees the problem and sends Reki to evacuate everyone. By doing so the skeleton spots the two heroes and aims his attack at them.

The skeleton smashes the stairway down and Reena struggles. She calls for help and Shugo uses data drain. Instead like the previous time (episode 1) the data drain beam divides itself in multi beams. One beam to the skeleton, who survives, a beam to lord Balmung, to Mireille, the dog and finally his own sister’s sword. Soon after the beam the skeleton crumbles a bit but still hold his stand, trapped in the stance it’s more like a roaring statue.

Balmung discovers the effect of the beam as all affected members has. He’s unable to move his sword, Mireile to cast spells and Reena is totally in love with Shugo. Before we move to the dog the skeleton heals himself, the affect is channeled. While Reena wants to kiss Shugo all over he worries about dodging and escaping the skeleton.

All of a sudden the dog speaks informing Shugo !she! will handle the skeleton. The dog transforms and finalizes into a beautiful woman. Mireile is glad to find Poka here since she’s incredible strong. Poka in return is dissatisfied to reveal her identity. While she fights she informs Shugo she’s in fact a werewolf. The skeleton is smashed to the ground and doesn’t heal. Seems that was the real affect of the data drain.

The data drain affect worn off. Surprised Reena finds herself into her brothers arms and Shugo doesn’t know how fast he should put her sister down before she totally freakes out. The next moment a giant boom cracks the ground and a tree burns down. It seems Mireile casted spells, earlier the event, finally takes effect.

The casted spells might have turned the trees to ashes, Shugo is glad and runs towards it, shouting he solved the puzzle. He shouts ‘the old man who make the flowers bloom’. It’s an old fairy tale where an old man makes of white dust the flowers bloom. To empowers his words he throws the ashes into a tree which starts blooming. Balmung is pleased, that’s correct.

Mireile just know what her wind master task is. She casts a wind spell and blows all the ashes to all the other trees still standing. Our little party is wondering the event and even Reki research is dismissed for a while, Balmung just wants to enjoy the moment. Our rare hunter spots their reward and claims it.

However Poka grabs her away and informs her Shugo solved the puzzle. The item is an dog collar, since the old man in the story had a dog. Poka succesfully tempts Shugo and he hand over the colar to his new dog, oops I mean the werewolf.

“Upside down trees, empty mist wells, unknown monsters … this is crazy! On which server am I.” The thoughts of a fleeing swordsman being chased by monsters which had popped out of nowhere. The colorful and upside down trees creates an entire weird environment. Eventually the swordsman is been slashed down. What a stupid server! The swordsman ensures to have a good talk with the administrator.

The joystick slips out of the boy’s hand, it drops on his keyboard and bounces to the desk. His head bows down, there is no sign of life. On his head he wearers a virtually reality helm, a webcam on top his pc and all the accessories you aspect of a die hard gamer. The computer displays the famous ‘Life over’ screen to the boy, he was just defeated in an mass multi online role playing (MMORPG) game.

Home at last Shugo Kunisaki turns his pc on and checks his email box. Surprised he finds an winning mail of “‘The World’ Limited Edition, Character Campaign”. Shugo thought he overgrowth the gameplay time. However he’s aware of the popular game named ‘The World’ which is a giant MMORPG game. He dials the phonenumber of Reena, who’s surprised he won too. Shugo is a bit mad because she signed him up without notifying him.

Why should he play? How is he able to play, he hasn’t all the requirements and software. Reena giggles, she made preparations before they left, she also installed the game on his pc. Shugo has no choice to play the game (girls…). He puts on the virtually reality helmet, starts the game and finds himself in a realistic shaped world of “The World”. Wondering how fantastic the world is he meets an scary character, who likes him to much.

He runs of and bumps into the breasts of an young lady. Lucky she doesn’t slap him but turns her back when Shugo smiles when she asked whether he would repeat the action. Next he finds a girls hand, “Hey your my brother Shugo not?”, she asks. Shugo looks up and meets a gorgeous girl character. Could it be?, Could it be his little twin sister?

It’s his little twin sister, Reena, indeed. They find their selves a seat and Shugo noticed everyone is staring at them. Reena smiles, “ofcourse”, she respond, “we are the limited the characters, we won the contest”. Shugo isn’t a player at all, so the next question is who are they (pointed at their characters)? And why are their characters so famous?

Reena answers they are the dot hackers. Two of the original party who solved the previous mission in the world was a young male Twin Blade, Kite and a young girl Heavy Blade, Black Rose. Because they solved the mystery other players weren’t allowed to use those characters anymore. Until now that is, that’s why all people can’t get their eyes of the legendary heroes.

Shugo looks to Reena, gosh she’s beautiful, man it’s his own sister! He ask Reena whether she’s able to change her look, he feels uncomfortable. Reena in contrary thinks she looks great and doesn’t want to know about another look. While they talk their conversation is overheard by a small little girl. Though Shugo is happy to chat with his sister after three months, he wants to starts playing which makes Reena confused. Chatting is fun too? It doesn’t matter, she just wants to be with her brother and they walk to the fight area.

Arrived at the portal the enters the beginners fighting area. The little persuader was able to overhear their location and follows them. The twins arrives at the fighting area and immediately go off searching for a monster. The little girl wonders why they entered the beginners fighting area, since those characters are … hey what’s that?

She turns her head, there was a kind of strange glitch. We do see some green strange glitches. At any case the twins meets an monster and Shugo attacks it, defending his fair little sister. Soon after he ran off, he finds himself defeated and Reena slices the monster into pieces. She hands her brother a potion over which wil restore his health points. Shugo confesses he lacked reading the giant manual he got.

Reena sees Shogu through, he never reads manually and always acts like he wants to. Not graduating the game he gets bored and stops playing. She also tells Shugo she’s able to see all his actions in this game. Shugo is outmatched and promises his sister he will read the manual, next monster is his.

A monster emerges from the portal, a second chance for Shugo to show off. He’s ready until a giant shadow shapes an armored Super Shogun of level 84. Shugo is stunned, this is the beginners area, why suddenly an 84 monster. Reena is surprised too but she quickly takes Shugo away. The little girl oversees the event and ask herself the same question. She also follows the party and she tracks them until they walk to an dead end. Shugo saves his sister but get sliced himself.

Dead he finds himself trapped into an black world. He attempts to unset his helmet but his body doesn’t respond! Inside the fighters area Reena is fleeing in pain. She won’t last long and she has new questions like as long as a member of the party survives the dead members will float as a ghost nearby the livings. But she’s unable to find Shugo, something terrible must be wrong. She enters a small castle and climbs up the stairs. The giant monster follows her and she flees for it again. The monster reverses his direction and leaves the castle.

Reena is outside and suddenly find a stabbing sword of the giant underneath her. She quickly jumps away and finds herself at an flagpole. She crawls forward dodging the slashes of the giant until the pole breaks. Lucky she falls at a cloth roof and bounces safely on the second floor of the castle.

In the black world of Shugo an light appears, a beautiful little with girl emerges within the light. She kisses Shugo and he revives. She grants him the gift of an golden bracelet. The golden bracelet is able able to data drain and defeat the monster. Continuing her story she tells him he mustn’t die, he’s the one who must save the world because he’s the heir of the dot hackers. The she vanishes into the light and when Shugo is able to look around again he finds himself into the beginners area.

Reena cries for help and Shugo runs for it. Suddenly Balmung, a feathered winged swordsman appears and attempts to defeat the giant creature. He slashed through his body but the creature just regain his lost parts! The giant changes his target towards Reena. Just when he wants to give her a smash Shugo Data Drains him, using the bracelet. The giant is converted into a living sword and flees. Balmung ensures they are safe and leaves.

The little persuader (the girl), ka-booms the sword an claims the rare item. The twins looks up to her and she introduces herself as Mireille, the rare hunter. She’s amused to be entertained with those ordinary events, legendary heroes, giant in newbie area, Balmung of the Azure Sky. Amazed she tells them it should be the limited characters, playing with those unlocks ordinary events. Shugo ask himself whether the white girl was an event too.

Balmung, in contrary, worries about the situation, He dispatches Reki to investigate the situation, it might be related with ‘the incident’. On top of events, he worries more about the reappearance of Kite and BlackRose.
