Joking Alice put some red stuff on her hands and ask if she could use magic to put up the rates. Confused the teachers stares her and in that moment she rubs the red stuff over a classmate face. Laughing she asks if it’s red enough.

The class shatters but the boy and his friend doesn’t take it lightly and grabs her beloved fathers book. Then they make run for it and Alice is forced to go after them. Their teacher screams all over, but they run off to a in-build section of the school. The get outside on a three floor high ground.

When the boys reaches a death end they are forced to handover her fathers book. Instead they hold it back over the edge. Alice warns them not to throw it and pushs the boys aside to grab her book. Unfortunately she slips and falls. However she vanishses into the thin air. When she awakes she’s in the middle of a forest. So will soon find out about the magic of this world. The true magic isn’t as lovely as she thought. But she remain the believe. Magic is made to make people happy!

I have to tell you, episode 40 isn’t a farewell and all end great last episode. The last episode of the anime is a thrilling one! But, don’t get my words for a cup of tea, watch it yourselves at the anime district.

Mahou Shoujotai goes on and they end up breaking into the palace. The war spreads across the country and all witches and warlords are fighting. More magic, more trouble, more sadness and maybe treachery. Is Alice new ‘boyfriend’ a trusty boyfriend? It’s still a warlord you know.

These bunch of new episodes was uploaded some hour(s) ago and is now avaible in the anime district. I awaited the upgrade of php5 (previous post), but it didn’t appear in the previous hours. So I just quickly put up some more content.

Update 16 December ‘08; Closed comments due spam

The sprites are the worse problem and the authority no longer awaits it’s small army. So whenever a small army not succeeds a bigger will. And who is that old witch we see in the last screenshot over here? 23 is a good episode in which we find them struggling to break the curse again. And our little teacher starts to become a fine heroine.

Today it’s christmas and as a gift I have something about Anime and OST’s as new feature! As I have still a bit of problems with my home pc it’s not fully done yet. In fact I’m acting the whole database thingy behind the pages. At any case …

The city is a rampage and the society might not have realised the fact the sprites are lost, but the Warlocks has. The warlocks are male ‘witches’. Witches who doesn’t go to the human world and either get official posts have to marry warlocks. If a child is born the sex decides where the mother lives. If it’s a boy it’s going to live with the warlock, if it’s a girl they live away from their father in the witch world, except for Sheila. Her mother choosed the father.

Leaving Sheila alone she has to survive on her own as we last told about. She had a rough youth and as you probarly expects its not very well for mother-daughter relationship.  At any case, the warlocks started to hunt the sprites too. The witches at charge fears a battle will explode between the two sexes, between the witches and the warlocks.

Suddenly Sheila’s mother went to see her daughter. Sheila is suspecious that she’s actually a spy, though she says she broke up with her husband Sheila isn’t willing to listen. She doesn’t want her mother back, she’s furious about all that talk about family and magic to be happy.
Sheila’s mother has a bit of an ‘Alice character’ always wants to cheer people up or at least give anything a smile. (The pie is a little to litarly still…)
Sheila went out to hunt down some sprites and get herself into trouble. Lucky her mother got a bad feeling and so she goes to search Sheila together with Eva and ofcourse Alice they come to rescue her.
As soon as Alice get’s there and rescues Sheila she releases the captured sprite of Sheila. In return she released the sprite she received bad luck of him, talking about good brings good. Alice wouldn’t be Alice if she didn’t use this oppertunity.

So instead of whining she uses the bad luck in order to make Sheila laugh. Sheila’s mother is a bit mad at Sheila because she doesn’t know what Alice is up to. At least Alice, surprisly,  succeeds in her quest! Alright it wasn’t a big smile, but she smiled! Sheila’s mother is happy to see her daughter is in good hands and leaves Sheila back alone. In meanwhile something twisted Sheila’s head and she’s starting to tear a bit. She’s just too late to catch up with mom, still there are left two great friends to celebrate her birthday together.

Knowing of the true nature of the port, this just means death sentence. The reason is simple, the level of magic will remain high, (well that’s easy solution not, good for schools. Every school no drop outs, cause 7 or smaller is exile). Kuu got that problem, she can’t perform magic. Ofcourse Sheila doesn’t want to help and thinks she can’t do anything, she says if she just really would she could. Sheila is hard, but she was alone since she was born, she always had to depend on herself. No one ever helped her out.
While the presentation is going on the special team provoked a sprite which not only interfeys with the presentation, but is heading to the containment facility as well. Ateria defends with all she can, but without the pertification spell, it’s just no use. Alice doesn’t want to hand over the pertication to Sheila since she used Kuu and let her alone. Alice says “who cannot even save one person, cannot save everyone”. So she ends up being petrified instead. Kuu doesn’t understand why she risked her life for her. But she knows one thing, she won’t quit trying to restore Alice, the one who saved her. She uses her magic to save Alice and succeeds since she wants and believes in it. Everyone is happy except Sheila. “Magic to make people happy, I cannot accept that”.

The episode title’s of Mahou Shoujo Tai are now correct. Thx for the tip, I wasn’t aware of it. I’m also happy to see some replies here, do not be frightend to post anything. I love to have replies, but the site is not yet well visited.

Why all these good news you ask? I just catched a cold yesterday, so I had plenty of time watching episodes, do nothing, write something, do nothing watch eps and stuff like that. Still , it should bot be a sign to wish, I be ill forever .

Mahou Shoujotai

Nice watching time, I know I did.

As Alice has losed her magic book she wants to return home. As she said at the opening of this episode, a journey you take you don’t return isn’t a journey, it’s just moving. Alice masters the spell “fire” and instead of remembering the magic formule she thinks of an easier way to remeber the spell. Her formule “Be kind too others”.

Sheila still teaches her apprentice witches, but since all sprites are lost and thus no or rarily magic tools, they start to notice something is wrong. It’s not a pleasure for Ateria as well, she also have to endure the secret witches crisis and she’s responsible for everything. So it’s not really strange the class are starting to ask questions and Sheila get’s cornered by it. Even at a point, the class moves away. Above all Eva tells Alice about the “Port of Departure”. Each drop out will be send to the human world to marry a human to live in tears and pain. Witches thinks the human world is full of tears and pain. Eva wants to go with Alice as she is certain she will never be able to perform any magic. So those two go off leaving Sheila behind while she’s responsible for her class.

Not for long Eva wants to rest up and searches for a four leaf clover. A four leaf clover topping your head will make you able to see the Pisky Dusk, so they find the Pisky almost the same moment Eva got the four leaf clover on her head. Ofcourse the special team has noticed, but Alice acts like the sprite actually ran away from them. She fakes the spots she sees the sprite and the special team get’s nuts. On the end the Pisky creates a illusion so Eva, Alice and the sprite can escape.

Continueing their journey towards the Port of Departure they end up in the forest of no return. Sheila took the Dragon House and just arrived at the port at the moment Eva and Alice get’s lost. Sheila shivers when she sees the port and goes back to pick up Eva and Alice. In meantime Alice just used the fire spell to attack the fiends the encounterd. It’s no use so Alice tries to use the illusion spell with succes. Sheila notices it and pick them up. She´s not willing to show Alice the Port of Departure but she has no choice, eventually Alice will go there with or without her. So the best option is to go with them all.
Arrived at the Port of Departure they find out the true nature of the Port. It was said the port is a Witch’s Graveyard because witches are send to the human world. The true is, many witches never reaches the portal (see the last screenshot). Witche’s graveyard is not only a synonymous to the port, it really is a graveyard.

The previous episode ends with the loss of Alicia’s magic book. Her loss makes her unable to perform magic she even can’t fly. The sprite Iku, the one who granted Alicia’s wish, teleported in return her most precious item. The sprite has been captured, but luckily even he doesn’t know where to the item was teleported. Now Alicia only wants to return to the human world, sad she thought anyone could use magic.

Though she can’t return without the book, Ateria tells. The party went to Ateria cause the loss of Alicia who tells she’s human and wants to go home. She also tells Ateria that the book was gift of her father, who had the book as human (as far as Alicia knows). Ateria grants her a place in the magic world and gives her, her own apprentice uniform so she can study at Sheila’s class. Still she’s not allowed to inform anyone about her ‘human’ secret. Neither informing the grandmaster, is accepted.

It’s Alicia first lesson at Sheila’s class and finds out sprites are being used, sacrificed to favor the witches with magic. Above all she’s forced to save a littly girl out of fire, because no one wanted to help her. Sheila is furious because Alicia spoiled the little one, if she had faced death she might have extenquish the fire and learn the spell. Now it’s Alicia’s turn to get mad. While the fly back to home they meet a griffon. A griffon’s feather will allow you to fly, but Alicia doesn’t want to hurt the griffon at all. Alicia and Sheila can’t patch up the quarrel and Alicia goes off to find the Wild Pilots, the drop outs, she met earlier this day.

Those seems to have exactly the same reason as Alicia. While joy riding the griffon is being attacked. Sheila and Eva are after the three attackers but they are out numbered. Still Alicia succeeds to rescue the griffon and is blessed by a feather as thanks. Sheila and Eva are surprised. As Alicia flies off to enjoy her flight with her new feather Sheila can’t stop thinking the way Alicia takes to become a mage is a weird one.

Summary

Sheila covers Alcia when she almost reveals herself as an human. Eva wants to tell Alica why but Sheila doesn’t want Alicia to know. It was fun to have Alicia around but Sheila and Eva has a task to do, so Sheila makes a contest. Alicia looses because she saves Eva’s life and leaves the party.

Alica finds a sprite who’s ability is to make children wishes comes true. At first she thinks about herself, but at last she wants to help her previous party. At that moment a sprite attacks Sheila and Eva who where in the neighbourhood and some other mages interfy. So Alicia wishes to free her party and rejoins with them.

The episodes are short, if I substract the end and open sequence I would have 10 minutes to watch. So I will each time, for this anime, give a summary of a pair of episodes. Meaning that I will now tell about episode 1 and 2. The next would be the episodes 3 and 4, go on.

Impression
My first impression of this anime is that it is great, a must watch anime for those who love magic and cute girls. The creators succesfully made an entire new world where magic is common. It’s sometimes a bit weird what is what, but it all looks good.

Mahou Shoujotai is a high quality anime, pitifull it’s only for ten minutes each episode. It might be a small time but I think that it didn’t ruined the story. The anime is not created on the fly neither does rush it as I thought it would be. Still you need to watch seriously to the anime if you doesn’t wish to end up with, ‘uh?’. It’s not the easiest anime to follow, but it’s worth to see.

The first episode starts with the history of Alicia. After that we directly go to the magic world where she finds herself in trouble and got locked up. She must witness her deeds, she was keeping witches off work, capturing a sprite. So she tells about the human world and how she came in this world. She was just toying with her friends untill she slipped out reaching for her book which her friend reached out of her (picture 5). When she woke up, she was in de middle of the forbidden forest.

Eva let her go in trade of some eatable nuts. Alicia frees all the sprites and have to flee together with Eva and Sheila to get out in one piece. Sheila and Eva, the two apprentices who are responsible for the dungeon, get punished for Alicia actions. Alicia tells them she set the sprites free at purpose, according to her sprites should be free. Sheila is furious because she took action with none knownledge of the world and so the apprentices and Alicia end up seperated.
