Finally Alter’s Fate Testarossa Burst version makes part of my collection. Close to Nanoha Takamachi, she stands proudly, mighty and solely. Her sad expression tells an unheard, *cough* season 1, story. Behind those powerful blade (Bardiche in Assault Form, Season 2) and blazing speeds is a lonely and wounded girl. Longing to be loved, wished to be seen, frighted for friendship, as she never had.

My second shoot, following both tutorials of HappySoda (light and blocking light) and followed up the tips from Shino, who I think is from the lololol blog, I shot better pictures than last time. We’ll start with a little side-story about Reinforce Une.

Reinforce is a device from the tome of the night sky. Yagami Hayate, the mistress obtained her in season 2. However due certain events Reinforce Zwei (Deutsch for two) is now the new tome device.

Reinforce Zwei, does look like a chibi version of the earlier Reinforce. She made an appearance in the later season 3 (StrikerS) and we finally we see her into action as she takes on the full drive. Later on you get to know Reinforce is an unison device. Ok, I won’t spoil it, so I better stop informing about the series. At any case a screenshot of Reinforce Zwei, from StrikerS is below so we are able to compare it with the pvc version of Alter.

Fate Testarossa starts as a formidable opponent of Nanoha Takamachi in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. In the third series she’s adopted and changes the name to Fate Testarossa Harlaown. I preferred the burst version, see happy soda’s site which also made a review. However I could not get it, all sold out :(. So, in meanwhile I bought this one and I hope the burst version becomes again available in the future.

So, let’s start my very first figure review. Yes, this my first. Be nice, but criticism is a must!

Nanoha, our little teenager gets suddenly involved in an event which will change her life forever. While making a stroll in the together with her friend she picks up a wounded ferret. Quickly she takes it to the vet who finds the ferret mostly intelligent. That night Nanoha is being mentally contacted by the ferret who’s in huge danger. A black drop of water looking like a acid toxic waste in an giant drop form seemed to have chased down the ferret. The ferret is in fact a magical ‘human’ user who supposed to safeguard these creatures. While wounded she has no power to lock up this life threating creature and desperately gets our Nanoha involved.

Episode 3 ‘The town is in a lot of danger’

Quickly Nanoha hands shifts as she calls the sealing incantation for Jewel Seed XX. Pink strokes of light shoots to the stars, sealing it and return it to a small piece of blue jewel. She takes a breather, it’s a though job. During the day she’s just a normal scholar, but as night she’s a magical girl. Exhausted she goes how, tomorrow it’s Sunday.

Episode 2 ‘My Magical Incantation is Lyrical’

Transformed, Nanoha stands before her opponent. The giant creature readies it’s attack and jumps for it. Frightened Nanoha instinctively crosses her arms before the face. The red jewel analyses his new master’s action and perform the protection spell. The monster’s attack is backfired with the sudden appearance of the protection field. It’s forms explodes and splits into tiny pieces. During the monster recovery the ferret explains Nanoha she needs to provide spiritual energy to get the magic system to work. Also she needs an incantation to actually cast an aimed spell.

Nanoha shuts her eyelids and take a deep breath. Searching for her incantation in heart, the monster have regenerated itself and prepares for an another assault. Racing towards Nanoha who’s eyes are still shut, he jumps to take her out. Just as it’s able to hit her, Nanoha opens her eyes and casts protection again. However, this time she controls her magic and quickly casts a sealing spell next to. Backfired the monster has no cover and transforms into a blue jewel, which is called a jewel seed. This time Nanoha got #21.

All people have harbor a myriad of wishes and feelings. Those feelings do sometimes touch and collide with other people’s feelings. However some of those people have ties which connect all of them together. So Nanoha narrates. Her story contains all of those events and encounters.

A lot of anime bloggers these days blogs about Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (MGLN) StrikerS. StrikerS is the third season of a popular ongoing series of a girl named Nanoha. For those who aren’t related with the popular series it remains a mystery how people loves Nanoha so much. It’s just a story about some magical girls flying around in beautiful uniforms. They battle around and keep the planet safe fighting together as friends. Linear plot uh? It’s what the anime bloggers complains in the last season. But it’s not like that, it’s just the start. So, what’s Nanoha about.

For me the Nanoha series is special. A bit revealing of my past will clarify it. Not for all to long I watch anime and the first anime I ever watched was Ragnarok the Animation, at November 2004. At the very first time I tasted the fruits of anime existence and fellows I loved it. So I went to animesuki to get some unlicensed anime. (I still do, great anime resource.)
