Fate Testarossa starts as a formidable opponent of Nanoha Takamachi in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. In the third series she’s adopted and changes the name to Fate Testarossa Harlaown. I preferred the burst version, see happy soda’s site which also made a review. However I could not get it, all sold out :(. So, in meanwhile I bought this one and I hope the burst version becomes again available in the future.

So, let’s start my very first figure review. Yes, this my first. Be nice, but criticism is a must!

A pleasant old fashioned party is going on. Jokes are made and champagnes are toasted. The cooks and cleaners are doing there job and everything goes smooth. The daughter of the party owner is dressed in a red dress and together with her father in the surroundings of the party. At bedtime she finds one doll overlooking her. That doll wears the same clothes as her, red dress, clothed hat, green ribbon…

The doll walks to her, but the girl in red dress doesn’t want to play with it. Instead she puts her away in a suitcase, designed for the doll. Just before she drops the lid, the doll get a glimpse of the girl in red dress hugging her father. Then all becomes black,as the suitcase doesn’t offer indoor light, locked up she only is able to wait, wait and wait …

General Information

The first volume of the manga was published in Japan 25th March 2003. In 7th October, 2004 the new anime series ‘Rozen Maiden’ aired, which was a success. A year later, on 21th October 2005, the second season named ‘Rozen Maiden Traumend‘ was aired and nearing the ending of the show an OVA was introduced. Traumend is German for Dreaming.

Nanoha, our little teenager gets suddenly involved in an event which will change her life forever. While making a stroll in the together with her friend she picks up a wounded ferret. Quickly she takes it to the vet who finds the ferret mostly intelligent. That night Nanoha is being mentally contacted by the ferret who’s in huge danger. A black drop of water looking like a acid toxic waste in an giant drop form seemed to have chased down the ferret. The ferret is in fact a magical ‘human’ user who supposed to safeguard these creatures. While wounded she has no power to lock up this life threating creature and desperately gets our Nanoha involved.

A long time ago I wrote about Fairy Musketeer Akazukin. A very young girl from a world having magic visits the world named Earth (the world of science). She is addressed with a very important mission! Now it seems a boy of just her age seems to be the key. At this time I won’t blog the series. Still, following the weeks ago, I find increasing people requesting uploads, which is fine. However this requires me to ensure a forum at the site. I’m still busy with the forum and a few things should be set before I open a closed beta for selected users only.

I have uploaded this series ’cause I couldn’t find any license for it. It also doesn’t seems to be uploaded at other DDL sites, so it’s a rare item. The requester asked me for Episode 37. So here it goes. Starters may start at the first episode.

Why I start watching

.Hack … A game, a manga, the series, the ova, the movie. .Hack becomes a common concept in the anime world. However I’m sure it won’t be as famous as Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura or Neon Genesis Evangelion. Urm, okay, let’s see. I started watching these series because .Hack was such a good series. I just loved .Hack//Dusk, also known as, .Hack//Legend of the Twilight . After I watched the trailer I found out this .Hack series is again about “The World”, a virtual reaility game in which .Hack plays. However the place totally differs. The review next, without spoilers.

The world of .Hack// Roots

.Hack//Roots is placed after a huge timespan of .Hack//Legend of the Twilight. The world still exists, however it’s dancing on the cliffside. Player killers makes it hard for beginners and moderated players can’t protect there wares. Haseo, our hero starts the game in this development. Playing for just a few hours I get struck be a few player killers. Mad Haseo wants to quite, but suddenly Ovan arrives. A mysterious guy who wants him to be strong. He revives Haseo and makes sure he remains in the world.

I found the full dancing clip in which Suzumiya Haruhi (anidb info link) dances in the ending of each episode. Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is “The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi” in English. A very bossy girl who acts, do as she wants too. It contains the official Japanese ED theme without English subs , but who the hell cares. It’s about the dancing, which is universal. You can grab the song and lyrics from Atashi’s Blog.

To silence your hunger, Kamichama Karin is archived today. If you know, or should know, kedex lacked motivation and stalled the project. I and they never said they discontinues, but their motivation is lost, somewhere. So, people able to get on the irc channels and bittorrent can get the series from Kedex (1-17 irc only) SunFlowerSubs (18-26).

For now I’m totally out of the anime watching. In fact I’m following two series, Shakugan no Shana and .Hack//Roots. You both won’t see these two items blogged at the site, ’cause they are way too popular.

In Mokke episode 8 we find Mizuki at an old ‘festival’ place. A giant red building in traditional style jumps in front of them (Mizuki and her friends). Mizuki immediately feels aura of the ‘other’ -side. Not comforted she takes no risk and tells herself not the return to the place. However she can’t put it out her mind and is curious why. A Mokke worthy episode again.

Not watched Mokke yet? Too gentle for you uh … Did you watched the Mokke Opening? At least you should watch, listen to the OP. You can view the Mokke Opening at Youtube . They just got a splendid opening song. The fansub Subs Anonymous who subs these series are at episode 12. There was a Shinsen-Subs version which was stalled month(s) ago. So stop asking me about the Shinsen-Subs. Those we are familiar with bittorrent are always able to grab the most recent files at AnimeSuki Series - Mokke.

The anime Winter Garden is an real average anime. The characters are ’simple’ colored and the movements are a bit stuffer than the most anime I list. Though the romance, the aiming genre is present in multi ways. (Though I must say Ah! My Goddess still rocks. If you haven’t watched the anime Ah! of Oh! My Goddess, please do.)

All together I can say, the average anime scores an average note, 6.0. Though be aware I’m that keen with this kind of anime. My genre is, Shoujo, Cute, Magic and Fantasy… You should have known by now.
