A year ago I found the anime movie Paprika which was just an insane good anime. Seeming happy parade, a lot of fantasy and animation quality sprouted. Smooth skin, animation and CG’s made Paprika a beautiful and weird anime. Still it’s NOT hard to follow, any case far easier the Cossette and Lain. A movie which is typical set for anime’s, no toon nor real life movie could equal it.
I didn’t think I will ever make an review of Paprika, but I think I am need of a filler-post. So, we’re now talking about the OST first, later on the filler, somewhere in the weekend along a couple of related links.
The first two tracks are probably, the most famous songs of the movie. A festival song which do overrun you with happiness and a parade feeling. Without watching the anime, you probably suggest it’s an happy parade with celebrating weird folks. To people who have watched the anime, we all know, it’s nothing like an happy parade at all.

A few weeks ago my-animedaisuki uploaded the ED single to the free file service. To notifiy, here a post. I’ve updated the post Zero no Tsukaima and was nice enough to complete archives along the OST.
For those we aren’t familiar with the series, please check the Zero no Tsukaima. It’s an great time-wasting series, there is an absurd telling of romance behind the two.

I’ve had it with the spam. Bang! Closing down a bunch of comment forms, sorry people. Hopeful the OST of Laputa will make you out of crying. Also if you were looking for a torrent, try the Boxtorrents Laputa torrent. It took ‘us’ a while to discuss which was the best version, so… Buy at Play.com I’ve bought mine at a local store.. So don’t have an url of that. You can try the store urls in the blog roll too.
No updates? Yup, I rarely have sparetime due my work, forgive me. Though, I’m able to announce I’m writing an article about “Zero no Tsukaima”. The same reason and setup as I have written the “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Season 1-3” article. An huge and factfull article thus.
Next I have found some good plugins such as comment editing and comment luv which I want to add to the blog. Hopefully the spam will stop when I put up a new filter.
At last some savings made their way to a webstore Archonia (interesest especially Benelux countries) and vanished into the thin air. However I ‘found’ myself new PVC’s and the ‘new’ books of Battle Angel Alita. Well, not all too shabby for you guys, but I needed to mention and explain I’m still alive.
Sorry for the misspelling blogging, I really have no time or intend to clean up right now. So, again, never ever learn English from this blog. English is NOT my native language, you should have notice by now …

Avenger is an anime of 2003. It’s about androids in the future which replaces children. In confess I haven’t seen the anime, but I might try it once. Though here is a description found at from anidb.
Mars has been colonized and is a world where children have been replaced by robot servents known as ‘dolls’. Layla is a skilled fighter with a tragic past who travels about the world. Her companions are Nei, a strange and unique doll with some unknown ties to Layla, and Speedy, who is a doll breeder. The founders of Mars see the trio as a threat to their world, and each time they attack Layla and Nei a bit more of their mysterious past and future is revealed.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, based off a doujin (privately published) game by 07th expansion. 07th expansion is indeed the creator of the Higurashi games. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni translated to english is Higurashi When They Cry.
For the moment I present you a list of the current series of this title. Higurashi became a big hit. Next to the game it expended into a series of manga and later on an anime was presented. Which they done very well I think. I must confess I only watched the anime series …
At any case, underneath a table of past, current and on-going series of this title. The OST is avaible in the OST section. See popular pages for the OST District.

At first a little update in the OST section, Blood+. A small description, taken from anidb.info.
The war never stops: in a different time, on a different battlefield, hiding deeply into the folds of History… They are called Chiropterans. They can change their form and disguise as human beings, but they are not. They are immortal creatures that feed off blood.
An organization, named Red Shield, has been fighting to exterminate this pestilence, and the struggle has now evolved into something of a much bigger scale.
Okinawa, Japan. Year 2005. Now.
Saya Otonashi is a high-school girl living peacefully with her family – with one exception: she has no memory of her life except for the past year. One day, a startling event causes her happy life to shatter into pieces.

In the early morning I had no intention to program school issues. I delayed the work and made a deadline of 13:30. So I should finish the non school business before the deadline and start working at school issues when the deadline is reached. In this small period of time, (still 2 hours though), I refreshed the anime ost district in exception of the search function. I’ve not only improved speed like caching of pages and thumbnails, but also fixed some minor layout details. Just check the district yourself.

Along the DVD I found the OST included as a 2-disc in the cover. That’s neat and good soundtrack too. The soundtrack of the anime (an OVA) Le portrait de petite Cossette is a great dramatic and gothic soundtrack. The main theme feels like darkness crawling into your bed. The tears fondling from bitterness and pain. After a small introduction the viols jumps in and sprouts the darkness with hope. Also the chorus is quit a stun to hear, especially after watching the scene when Cossette takes …
The music fits the anime, but it could be more dramatic and painful regarding the anime. I’ve expected more sorrow and sadness in the soundtrack but … Nevertheless it do support the scené’s, doesn’t irritate you, so it’s a fine piece of work. Before you buy the CD you can take a good listen at the ost district. I ‘ve also included a lossless format, flac. I couldn’t really make a choice of flac, wavpack and ape. But it seems Flac works well, IPod seems to like it as well. At top, it’s lossless, decrypt it and encrypt it to your own desired format.
