Yes, she is right, the webmaster Jonathan Rambelje, who’s nickname is Hirvine, celebrates his birthday today. Oh, wait, celebrating? Not a chance, no family visits over here . Don’t want one, better use the money I spare to get some great presents for me. I’ve bought up some nice additions of W.I.T.C.H. to my colllection. They should arrive in less a month.

When formatting your pc you walk through 3 phases.

1. Analyze and backup data
2. Format/ recover pc
3. Re-install

You will always see, phase 1 fails. :S I haven’t lost much, but I did forgot about a backup for the webdesign development database. Now the database is lost, it will take the necessary time to redo the changes I made. Sorry for that. On the other side, the pc is fresh and clean and it should take a while before I update again. In meanwhile I hope Namaca would do the updates for me. (Aww, I might have a small update over here, no content update though)

For those wondering about the new webdesign, it introduces the Toon District and an easy enable/ disable downloads for licensed series around. As you all should know we do not archive licensed series. Additionally we have also added the feature for putting up the license data, if it has one. The stream beam beta is a failure! We will no stream anime over here, there are way too good sites around.

Last week the dutch anti-piracy company Brein pressured several torrent sites to quiet. If they did not quit they threatend them by taking down the host. So the provider would be paid up instead. TorrentFreak charges Brein last week, but no more information was been taken. Now Leaseweb gives in the torrent sites like mybittorrent.com, btmon.com, btjunkie.org, seedpeer.com, what.cd and waffles.fm have to look for a different host in just one week. Source TorrentFreak.

State me clear, Leaseweb is an ultra fast hosting company and I think they really wanted to protect their other customers. A bit poor (read a real pity) for the torrent sites, I hope they find an good hosting who will stand ground. Not all torrent sites have illegal stuff! Leaseweb, you are a good hosting company, but I think you had to stand ground to this fact. Now it looks like all torrent sites are criminals. I know why you did, still sad. Brein is happy and continue pursuing torrent sites.

At first Happy Thanksgiving US! Celebrate your hard work and drink on me. Not too much, ofcourse . At this holiday you probarly don’t want to spend your time at Hirvine, so a catch into the eye with a new series from previous month.

I’m talking about the anime Mokke, created by MADHOUSE. Everyone knows MADHOUSE, otherwise you can’t name yourself an Anime watcher. Those non-anime freaks, just search for MADHOUSE. You probarly have some anime’s in your collection created by them.

Hirvine, does in fact, not listened new series, but we make an exception since the distribution is really slowly. Mokke is not a popular series and doesn’t contain much action. It’s all about the lifestyle of two sisters with the ability to see and hear the spiritual world. Mizuki, the little sister, get easily possessed and therefore these kids moved to their grandfather.

1 and 2 december an Avatar marathon will be hold on nickelodeon NL. It starts Saturday at 11.00 (GMT + 2)  and goes on Sunday all day. Hope you enjoy it.

In the previous week Brein toke drastic measures and had charged nine torrent sites. Demanding they halt their action’s they also threating them by taken the host provider if they won’t do as they were told them. It sounds harsh and it is harsh. It was just a matter of time someone would jump between them. In this case TorrentFreak charges Brein of copyright violation.

Indeed the anti-piracy company, Brein, is pursued as piracy. TorrentFreak claims they stole (and they did) information from their site and put it as their own. Without a referring source TorrentFreak is right, but what would the judge say. Is it too small too be charged with? Or will it be a seriously fail for Brein? There is no information how Brein handles these events.

I’m officially brassed of my current host. It’s not only slow but the service sucks. Man I didn’t knew it sucks so much. I’m now considering hostmonster.com . They have a decent service, though less features. Well, not too bad, after all I won’t cancel dreamhost (yet). They still have good things, but, such as the next, some things are way too lame.

Man, take this note for instance.

Legally, the person who holds the copyright to a given image, video or other creative work is the person who actually created it. For example, a photographer or videographer. Simply being in an image or video does not automatically give you control over the image or its distribution – even if your visage plays a prominent role in the work in question.

So, got a pass photo? Don’t put it into your about page, first ask permission of the photographer wether you may put your own photo at the site. :winks eye: you right. Still I’m holding dreamhost because of several other projects currently stated here.

A bunch of Winx Club episodes are now stored at Hirvine.com. The bunch of episodes reveals mysterious dreams of Bloom and a pact of the witches up with Riven. Some harsh words between Bloom and Riven breaks up the friendship between the Winx and Riven. School goes on and the girls have to take some interdimension test’s. Though the simulator kinda fails and now X is really in trouble.

The witches in mean time have planned a great punishment for their teacher and everyone they hate. Which means in fact, everyone except them. The episodes are, as usual at the Anime District. (Winx Club is a toon). Suddenly I just came up a good solution for the Anime and Toon district, just now, while writing. The next webdesign update will finally have a Toon District … Well, here is the episode list:

Brein, the dutch anti piracy group is taken down 9 sites as Dreamtor.org and Diablo-torrentz.biz (torrent sites). They found some legal urls directing to illegal wares. I’m not sure, but as the urls are legal Brein have no word to say. At any case, if the webmaster doesn’t response they are planning to take the roots, indeed the hosting provider. However, some hosting providers do support anonymous registers. Which is a good thing, I think.

Still Brein doesn’t stop and wants to take down the hosting provider. So, what I see is Brein is attacking the private data. Hosting providers respects your privacy, but Brein is really making a big deal to take down that sector. Let me state this piracy is bad, but private data is swell. … I won’t choose a side this time, Brein is seriously doing it’s work. I just hope they won’t break the private sector down. *waves*
